Hello. My name is Gerasimos Andreas Michalitsianos. Indeed a very long Greek name. Call me Geri for short though. I live in College Park and/or Severna Park, Maryland, United States. I am half Greek, half British. I hold dual citizenship with both the U.S. and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. My grandpa served in the RAF during WWII. My father was Dr. Andreas Gerasimos Michalitsianos (1947-1997), a NASA Astrophysicist at Goddard Space Flight Center. My mother is British, Kathryn Michalitsianos (b. 1950). She has been a nurse at Anne Arundel Medical Center since 1975. I love her very much. I have two older sisters, one 23 and one 24, Lydia and Elpiniki [Niki] respectively. Lydia is a graphic designer working in Vienna, VA. Niki is a special education teacher in Harford Conunty Public Schoolsl. My godfather is Dr. Demosthenes Kazanas (b. 1950), still currently working at NASA GSFC. He is a genius. I look up to these very two smart men.

I grew up in Maryland, and am currently 20 years old, weigh about 178 pounds, about 6 feet tall, love really loud music, drive a 1999 Toyota Corolla. I study Geology at UMD College Park and enjoy my major. My specialization is earthquake and fault mechanics. I am overall an intellectual, love to discuss politics and have serious conversations, do mathematics, and LOVE history. Yes, anything history. I know history backwards and forwards. I know I sound like a nut, but yes, I do fun stuff too. I like hiking, partying (seldom to occasionally), chilling out with friends, eating good food, dancing, concerts, ect. I love my friends, my family. I hope to attend graduate school somewhere out west, like Univ. of Arizona or Univ. of Colorado at Boulder. Let's see if I can get through undergrad. first...
